EXPERT PROCESSING OF HIGH-QUALITY PRECISION COMPONENTS

We currently produce conventional components for combustion engines and associated gear and axle parts for use in drivetrains (e.g. engine, gears, brakes) and chassis (e.g. longitudinal and transverse control arms, steering knuckles).

Products

  • Gear / clutch housing

    The production of gear and clutch housings is a delicate, intricate process involving the serial manufacture of lightweight metal cast parts made from aluminium and AI magnesium alloys.

    The manufacturing process includes the following process steps from the ‘source’ to the end user: it begins with the raw part and continues through to mechanical machining, high-pressure deburring, (high-pressure) washing, impregnating (coating) and component testing (leakage test) in integrated quality gates, packaging and finally shipping to the customer.

  • ‘Green part’ manufacturing: pinions and control gears

    The production lines and islands used for control gear ‘green part’ manufacturing are characterised by the large-scale precision machining of forged and steel parts. We currently provide manufacturing for several major OEM vehicle platform programmes. Depending on its design, a gear can require between five and ten control gears with different indices (switching steps).

    In addition to pre- and final processing, the value chain also includes inline measurement for quality assurance. Before the components are installed in the intended gear, they are "refined" at the customer's premises by a hardening process, followed by hard machining and subsequent installation in the gear-unit plant.

  • Crankshaft bearing cap

    The production lines for bearing caps in a nutshell: crankshaft bearing caps used in crankshafts allow for large-scale production with high-precision machining of aluminium or cast-iron blanks (lamellar casting and spheroidal graphite cast iron).

    The value chain’s manufacturing process includes all the process steps from the ‘source’ to the end user. It begins with the unmachined part and continues through to processing by broaching, machining, drilling, deburring, cleaning and component testing in the quality gate to packaging and finally shipping to the customer.

  • Manufacture of connecting rods for passenger and commercial vehicles

    The manufacture of connecting rods includes high-precision final processing of parts made by press-forging for later mounting in engines' crankshafts/piston units. In addition to pre- and final processing, the value chain also includes inline measurement and component tests for the classification of later applications as part of quality assurance at the end of the production process.

  • Steering knuckles

    We currently produce chassis components including longitudinal and transverse control arms and steering knuckles. The lion’s share of our manufacture is steering knuckles. From the ‘source’ to the end user the manufacturing process in the value chain includes the following process steps: it begins with the unmachined part and continues through to mechanical machining, deburring, washing and finally component tests.

  • Brake components

    The production lines for disc brakes allow for high-precision final processing of disc and drum brakes to transform them into ready-to-install parts. In addition to pre- and final processing, balancing, coating and testing, the value chain also includes inline measurement for quality assurance before the components are installed into their intended chassis.
